The factions of the Regions Party, the Communist Party and the Bloc of Lytvyn have left the session hall of the Ukrainian parliament.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the representatives of these factions had taken away their voting cards.

The representatives of opposition factions – the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT) and Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense – remained in the session hall. BYuT lawmakers are blocking the parliament’s rostrum and presidium.

The evening session of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday has not yet begun.
