You're reading: Azarov: Opposition’s statement on unjustifiable money printing is absurd

Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has said that statements of the opposition concerning the unjustifiable money printing are absurd.

"They mention an unjustifiable money printing and an alleged economic collapse in the country. This is nonsense. This is absurdity," the premier told the press in Kyiv on Saturday.

Azarov again linked the statements of the opposition to an attempt to destabilize the situation in the country.

"Opposition representatives understand that they lost the elections after all years of chaos, which they bought the country into," he said.

As reported, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko had accused the Ukrainian government in printing additional Hr 83.6 billion, which led to price hikes on the consumer market.
