Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree dismissing Tetiana Yefymenko as Ukraine's deputy finance minister.

The decree was posted on the president’s website on Friday.

Yefymenko was dismissed under paragraph 3, part 1, Article 30 of the law on civil service (the retirement age for civil servants).

Under another decree, the president conferred the second rank of civil servant to Yefymenko "for her conscientious work and in connection with retirement."

Yefymenko is one of the authors of the Tax Code. On Dec. 5, she will turn 60.
