Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych would ask advice from the Ukrainian premier, making a decision on the optimization of the Ukrainian cabinet and ministries, according to Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov.

"Of course, Liovochkin [the head of the presidential administration of Ukraine] runs a very important post, but the president is who would decide, and let’s wait for the president’s decision and then talk," he said on the Fifth TV Channel late on Friday, commenting Liovochkin’s statement that the cabinet and ministries’ structure could be optimized and brought in line with the Constitution.

"I would say that the president decides, and he asks advice from the premier," Azarov added.

He also said that the cabinet has analyzed its weak points during the drawing up of the Tax Code and found who was guilty, although the cabinet did not announce the names of guilty persons.

The premier said that mistakes during the drawing up of the Tax Code are not a supernatural thing.

"Each has the right to make mistakes," he said.
