Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated the leader of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao on his birthday.
"I’m pleased to say that under Your leadership the People’s Republic of China has reached large success in the reinforcing of its prestige on the international scene and providing for citizens’ welfare over the past several years and the country held important international events such as Olympic games 2008 and Expo 2010 at the highest level," the presidential press service said, citing Yanukovych.
Yanukovych said that thanks to the direct participation of the China’s leader, diverse bilateral cooperation has considerably stirred up.
"I’m sure that Your future state visit to Ukraine in 2011 would give a powerful incentive to further development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations and bring them to the new level of strategic partnership," reads the greeting.
Yanukovych wished Hu Jintao have happiness, good health, welfare and new successes in the Chinese leader’s state activity.
