Ukraine's state budget for 2011 envisages a deficit of UAH 38.84 billion, which is 28.2% down from that of the 2010 budget.

These are the data from the law on state budget which was published in the official newspapers and will enter into force on January 1, 2011.

The state budget for 2011 envisages a 10.4% increase in its revenues compared to this year’s plan, to Hr 281.465 billion, and a 4.6% increase in its expenditures, to Hr 321.921 billion

As reported, next year’s budget was drafted basing on the forecast of 4.5% GDP growth, 8.9% inflation and the hryvnia exchange rate of UAH 7.95/$.

The law also puts a ceiling on the size of the state debt at the end of 2011 at Hr 375.64 billion, compared to Hr 315.72 projected for the end of 2010.

The receipts from the National Bank of Ukraine are projected in 2011 at Hr 9.672 billion, compared to this year’s UAH 10 billion.

The monthly living wage in 2011 will increase 6.6% from Hr 894 as of January 1 to Hr 953 as of Dec. 1.

The minimum wage will grow 6.7% from Hr 941 as of January 1, 2011, to Hr 1,004 as of Dec. 1, 2011.

The national budget for 2011 foresees Hr 91.596 of borrowings, including UAH 48.588 billion on the domestic market and Hr 43.009 billion on foreign markets. A total of Hr 62.27 billion would be sent to pay debts, including UAH 37.523 billion to pay back loans taken on the domestic market and Hr 24.747 to pay back foreign loans. Some Hr 10 billion will be raised from privatization in 2011.
