Leader of the Batkivschyna Party and Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has said that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will be responsible for her further fate, and stated that she was not intending to commit suicide.

"I realize perfectly what these people [the current authorities] are able to do. I know that even today judges, prosecutors, witnesses and businessmen can be found in slag heaps in some regions of our state… Considering the sad stories of Ukrainian officials, I would like to say that I am not inclined to commit suicide, I don’t have such intentions," she said during a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday, commenting on possible new "repressions" against her.

Tymoshenko said Yanukovych would be personally responsible for her future.

"I will definitely not stop my fight under any conditions. Whatever happens to me, it will be personal responsibility of the president of Ukraine," she said.
