Kyiv, February 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has promised to do everything to increase not only pensions but also wages in the country.
"An increase of wages and pensions today is an issue that we have to settle, and [we should] bring wages and pensions closer to international standards, so that the correlation between the price [of food and goods] and the wages is fair for people. This is our main issue, and I will do everything for us to use this principle in state policy," he said during the Conversation with the Country television project on Feb.25.
