Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated Prince William on his wedding, the Kremlin reported on April 29.
"I cordially congratulate you on your wedding. This is a grand and memorable event not only for you but for the entire people of the United Kingdom. Let harmony, joy and love always reign in your family. The first lady joins my greetings," the message of the Russian president says.
A Fedoskino lacquer box with a miniature panorama of 19th century Moscow featuring the Cathedral of Christ the Savior on its lid was sent as a present to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
