Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet in Sochi on August 11, a source in diplomatic circles told Interfax-Ukraine on Saturday.
Along with this, the source has not named the format of a meeting, adding that "a meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission is unlikely to take place."
However, the interlocutor of the agency noted that, despite a lack of mutually acceptable agreements on some major issues, the parties are ready for a contact.
"There are no agreements on the gas issue, on the Customs Union," said the source.
At the same time, official Kyiv and Moscow have not reported on such a meeting.
