You're reading: Over 5,500 Russians diagnosed with swine flu

Moscow, November 17 (Interfax) - To date, more than 5,500 cases of the H1N1 virus have been registered in Russia, said Minister of Health Care and Social Development Tatyana Golikova.

"According to the data so far obtained from 79 constituent regions, the disease incidence on November 16 is 5,613 people, 98.9% of them were confirmed by laboratory tests," Golikova told a press conference on Nov. 17.
