About 600 deaths, caused by all strains of flu, have been registered in Russia since the start of the year, Health and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova said.

"Updated reports from the regions indicate that the death toll from all varieties of flu has not exceeded 600 since the start of the year," Golikova told the press in Moscow on Wednesday.

A/H1N1 is the most common strain in all flu infections in Russia, she said. Seasonal strains continue circulating in Russia, as well, Golikova said.
