Russian authorities are ready for active cooperation with any president elected in Ukraine, newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov said.

"Russian authorities will work with any president that Ukraine's people elect," Zurabov told journalists.

Zurabov visited Yulia Tymoshenko's electoral headquarters on Sunday evening.
