Minsk, March 10 (Interfax) - Belarus plans to increase the volume of Russian natural gas transited through its territory by 15% to 51.3 billion cubic meters in 2010 compared to 2009," an official with the Belarusian Energy Ministry told Interfax.

In particular, the Beltransgaz pipeline system will pump 18.5 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 14.3 billion cubic meters in 2009, according to the Energy Ministry.

The Yamal-Europe trunk gas pipeline plans to pump through 32.8 billion cubic meters of gas against 30.3 billion cubic meters in 2009.

Beltransgaz originally planned to transit 15.4 billion cubic meters and Yamal-Europe 28.8 billion cubic meters in 2009.
