Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili intends to visit Brussels on March 25 to take part in the European People's Party congress, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze told a briefing on Monday.

According to her information, leaders of 15 countries plan to take part in the congress.

During his visit to Brussels, Saakashvili plans to meet with NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Kalandadze said.

The meeting will address the speeding up of Georgia's accession to NATO.
