Minsk, May 4 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Prosecutor General's Office has not received an official request from Bishkek demanding the extradition of ousted Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

"We have not received a request for Bakiyev’s extradition," a spokesman for the Belarusian Prosecutor General’s Office told Interfax.

Kyrgyzstan’s interim government issued a decree on Tuesday stripping Bakiyev of his ex-president status and immunity from prosecution.
