St. Petersburg - Belarus on Friday reaffirmed its willingness to continue building the planned Customs Union with Russia and Kazakhstan, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.

"Today I spoke – something I’ve briefed our Kazakh counterparts on – with the Belarusian prime minister [Sergei Sidorsky], and he, citing the position of the Belarusian president, Alexander Lukashenko, confirmed that the Belarusian side stands ready to continue joint work in the trilateral format," Putin said at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Customs Union.
