You're reading: Crew survive Su-25 crash in Transbaikal territory

A combat-training Sukhoi Su-25 attack plane crashed as it was flying from the Styep airfield to the Domna airfield in the Transbaikal Territory at 7:30 a.m., on Friday.

"The crew ejected and survived," Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Vladimir Drik told Interfax-AVN.

There was neither loss of life, nor destruction on the ground. The plane was not carrying weapons.

Experts of the Defense Ministry and of the Air Force’s main staff are investigating, he said.
