The Prosecutor General’s Office has allowed former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko to travel to Brussels. “Today, ex-prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko asked an investigator for special cases of the Prosecutor General’s Office for permission to travel to Brussels on March 23-25 to attend a summit of the European People’s Party and to Lithuania to attend the international forum ‘The Best Experience of Strengthening Democracy’ to be held on June 30. The investigator considered the request and granted permission for a trip to Brussels in accordance with Article 151 of the Ukrainian Code of Criminal Procedure,” the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said on Wednesday, March 16.
