NESTLE is considering expanding into the Ukrainian bottled water market in the near future through the acquisition of one of the local producers, Maurizio Patarnello, general director of Nestlé in Ukraine and Moldova, has recently said.
He said the water categoryis a very important avenue for further development in Ukraine, though the potential acquisition targets have yet to be determined. "We are looking for an opportunity to acquire the assets of existing players," Patarnello said. Read the story here.
