Kyiv Pecherskyi district court has heard Kostiantyn Borodin, deputy head of the gas, oil and oil refining policy department of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, as a witness in the criminal case instituted against Yulia Tymoshenko, former prime minister, leader of the All-Ukrainian Union Batkivschyna, on the gas contracts concluded with Russia in 2009.According to Borodin, he was a member of the interdepartmental commission on assessing financial and operational activity of the Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint stock company in 2008-2009.
