Nalchik, March 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Rescuers have found one of the three the Ukrainian climbers, who got lost on Mount Elbrus, at the height of 4,100 meters, spokesperson for the North Caucasian Regional Emergency Center of Russia Kantemir Davydov has said.

"The man is in critical condition but he is conscious. We are currently carrying him down," Davydov said.

The rescue operations will continue at night, he said.

As reported, three Ukrainian climbers got lost on Mount Elbrus on Friday.

"During their descent from Mount Elbrus two residents of Kharkiv fell behind, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk group, Maryna Khytriakova, decided to stay with them, while eight people safely descended to the Gara-Bashi hut (Bochki)," Davydov said earlier on Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, a duty officer Kabardino-Balkaria, Alik Koytov, told Interfax-Ukraine that the search and rescue operation was being complicated by very low, almost zero visibility and strong winds.
