Hungary's prime minister said that a diplomatic breakthrough had been achieved concerning the Hungarian minority in Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has informed Hungary that it would make arrangements to supply missing Hungarian-language textbooks to ethnic schools before March 2010, and it would also make it possible for ethnic Hungarians to take secondary school final and higher education entrance examinations in their native tongue in the future.
