Novo-Ogaryovo, March 19 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have touched on the issue of relations with Georgia and Ukraine during their meeting on Friday, said Yury Ushakov, a deputy head of the Russian government secretariat.

"The issues of Georgia and Ukraine linked to our bilateral relations (between the U.S. and Russia) were raised," Ushakov told reporters following the meeting.

According to him, this was a very interesting and exciting conversation. Clinton was making temperate replies to Putin's statements, Ushakov added.
