You're reading: Russian and Ukrainian hospitalized after Thailand road accident

A 50-year old citizen of Russia and a 25-year-old female Ukrainian are undergoing treatment in a hospital after being injured in a road accident in Thailand, reads a statement posted at the official website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On October 2, at about 5.30am Bangkok time a bus full of tourists turned over on the Pattaya – Bangkok highway.
The bus was carrying 42 people including one child, citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries.
The victims were provided with proper medical aid and most of them have already returned to their hotels.
At the moment, two of the victims, Russian Alexander Konin, 50, and Ukrainian Inna Krivchenko, 25, are staying at the Pattaya Memorial hospital.
Both tourists underwent surgery, their life and health are out of danger.
