An investment banker fromUkraine who returned to her City firm from ­maternity leave only to be made redundant was awarded £1.5million yesterday. Oksana Denysenko came back to work as a vice­-president with Credit Suisse after the birth of her daughter to find that the colleague covering her position was still there. She shared the post, dealing with investments in Ukraine, with her replacement for seven months from May 2007 before bosses told her they did not need two people in the role. Read the story here.
