BRANTFORD, Ont. - An Ontario MPP will be honoured with the equivalent of a knighthood in Ukraine.
Brant MPP Dave Levac (luh-VACK) will be made a chevalier of Ukraine's Order of Merit.
The honour comes after his private member's bill aimed at remembering the victims of an artificial famine, known as the Holodomor (ho-lo-DOH-mar), passed at the Ontario legislature in April 2009.
