The senior Ukrainian official responsible for Euro 2012 preparations suffered a heart attack on Monday, a spokesman said. Borys Kolesnykov, head of the Agency for Euro 2012, was in stable condition and talking with doctors in a Kiev hospital after an operation, said spokesman Yury Grominitsky. Kolesnykov had been scheduled to travel to Brussels on Tuesday to brief EU officials on Ukraine's readiness to host its share of the competition in a presentation to the European parliament.
