Ukraine's government says it has banned former prime minister and lead opposition figure Yulia Tymoshenko from leaving the country to attend a meeting of top officials in Brussels. Tymoshenko is under investigation for corruption and abuse of office while she led the government from 2007 to 2010. She has denied the charges, and said she is the subject of political repression.
