Hungarians should agree to dismantle a memorial standing at the Verecke Pass in the Western part of Ukraine in order to improve Ukrainian-Hungarian relations, the nationalist Ukrainian Party has said. The Hungarian Conquest memorial, which sits at the site where the Hungarian tribes entered the Carpathian Basin in 895, was originally erected in 1996 and rebuilt in 2008 following repeated attacks by Ukrainian ultra-nationalists.
