Xinhua: Ukrainian to travel around the world under water

A Ukrainian intends to travel around the world alone on the underwater swimming device, local media said on Wednesday. The man named Fedor Konyukhov, from Zaporozhie region in southern Ukraine, is to start the trip in 2012. He will use the underwater submarine called "North-2" made in the USSR. It is the civil watercraft, which have a variety of uses, including tourism, exploration, oil and gas platform inspections. This self-propelled apparatus was given to traveler by sponsors. Read more.
