An artillery bombardment hit the centre of the Libyan rebel-held city of Benghazi on Saturday, Al Jazeera television reported.
Quoting its correspondent, Al Jazeera said the bombardment had hit Gamal Abdel Nasser street in the city centre. Libya government spokesman says "no attack whatsoever" on Benghazi.
