SANTIAGO, Chile, March 11 (Reuters) - Two strong aftershocks within minutes of each other hit the Chilean capital Santiago on Thursday, according to Reuters witnesses, just ahead of the swearing-in of President-elect Sebastian Pinera.

Chile was hit by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake on Feb. 27 that killed hundreds.
