LONDON (AP) — Tour operator Goldtrail has gone bankrupt, affecting around 16,000 tourists in Greece and Turkey, Britain's aviation watchdog said on July 17th.

The Civil Aviation Authority said that Goldtrail Travel Ltd. flights from Britain had been suspended and that it was making alternate arrangements for travelers already on vacation.

The New Malden, England-based company had about 150,000 customers in total, according to the Association of British Travel Agents.

The association said that customers could claim their money back through the Civil Aviation Authority’s travel insurance plan.
