Cox-Kwasniewski mission report in the European Parliament

Pat Cox, the former president of the European Parliament, and Alexander Kwasniewski, the former president of Poland, have been on a long-time European Union mission to broker a deal that ends selective prosecution in Ukraine and frees ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko from prison.

Editor's Note: The following are key observations to the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament  released today by Pat Cox, former president of the European Parliament, and Aleksander Kwasniewski, former president of Poland. The European Union-sanctioned mission by Cox and Kwasniewski is seeking the release from prison of ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and an end to selective criminal prosecutions in Ukraine.
