Joint-stock power supplying company "Kyivenergo" is the third in the world by volume unique power complex, which provides the full cycle of power supply of Kiev that includes indissolubility of production process, transfer and energy distribution.

Power sources and the branched out network of heat conductors, cable, electricity transmission air-lines allow the power company to handle completely the needs of Kiev by electric and to 86 % with thermal energy.

Electric capacity of Kyivenergo power stations makes 1200 MW.

The established thermal capacity makes 8,48 thousand Gkal/hour. Electric power holiday - 7334 million K.W.H..

Heat delivery from collectors - 15,3 million Gkal.

Own capital - 1381,0 million hrn., including

The authorised capital - 27,1 million hrn.

Non-working capital - 1874,8 million hrn.

Working capital - 682,4 million hrn.

Quantity of employees- 14,1 thousand people

As on 01.01.2006 in Kyivenergo structure function 13 branches and 3 structural isolated divisions.

Nowadays joint-stock power supplying company " Kyivenergo " is one of the greatest power supplying companies in the CIS, maintaining installations of combined manufacture of thermal and electric energy, systems of centralised heat supply and electric power distribution, thus, having created the integrated corporative system of energy production and distribution.

Works under power savings in ÀÊ "Kyivenergo" are organizated according to the current Ukrainian legislation, taking into account requirements of the Law of Ukraine "About power savings”, the Complex government program of power savings of Ukraine, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders and instructions of Mintoplivenergo, Goskomenergosohraneniye, ÀÊ "Kyivenergo" and others standard legal documents.

Within the limits of the Project of rehabilitation and expansion of the centralised heat supply of Kiev 2005 it is established and it is accepted on balance 75 knots of the account and thermal energy regulation; transpositions of 9 sites of thermal networks with use of preliminary isolated pipes (PIP) with the general extension of 13,95 km (in twopiped measurement) are executed. At the expense of decreasing of heat losses from isolation surface the economy of fuel because of PIP application makes of 1046 t. of conditional fuel in 2005.

According to requirements of directive documents in branches of AK "Kyivenergo", power passports of enterprises, which had state expert appraisal, are made and registered in Kiev regional state inspection on power savings.

According to calculations of experts of the Company, the general economy of fuel and energy resources because of power saving arrangements of Kyivenergo made 3204 tons of conditional fuel in 2005.
