Capacity of product realization and service in 2005 was 47,6 billion hr., income – 7,1 billion hr.

In 2005 NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine” produced 1/7 of Ukrainian gross domestic product and provided 11,5 million hr. of the income to the national budget. General number of workers at the company enterprises at the beginning of the 2006 was 172 thousand people that is nearly 1% of the able-bodied citizens.

NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine” is vertical integrated oil and gas company that carries out whole cycle of operations concerning searching and investigation of the deposits, operational and searching drilling, transportation and reservation of the oil and gas, providing the consumers with natural and liquated gas. More than 97% of oil and gas in Ukraine are mining by the enterprises of “Naftogaz”.

“Naftogaz Ukraine” carries out processing of the gas, oil and condensate at the 5 gas processing plants of the company, produces liquated gas, engine oil and other oil products. Company has its own tradeshow net of the filling stations.

Besides commercial activity company has the important social mission, it provides people, budget organizations and communal consumers with natural gas on the nationally regulated prices.

Strategic purposes of the company are: strengthening of the vertical integration with coming to the retail market of oil products and to the processing industry, fastening of the positions of the main transporter of the Russian gas to the European countries, developing diversified resource base abroad.
