Nestlé — a large world company in the field of foodstuff production. On all continents of the planet, except Antarctica, consumers can get its tasty and useful production.

History of Nestlé began with the invention of the first-ever dairy mix for feeding of babies by a Swiss pharmacist Henry Nestle in 1866. Using milk, wheat flour and sugar, Henry Nestle has developed a product which has received name Farine Lactee Henry Nestlé — "the Dairy flour of Nestle".

The assortment of Nestlé production constantly extends and nowadays totals approximately 8,5 thousand known trade marks in the world.

Nestlé puts considerable volumes of investments into scientific researches and technical elaborations. Such attention to this area, according to the official site of the company, displays Nestlé desires to make production not only tasty, but also useful. “Quality of products — quality of life” — the main credo of Nestlé company.

First of all, Nestlé fixes the positions and extends the presence in Ukraine at the expense of investments into local manufacture and industrial infrastructure, active support and promotion of trade marks, debugging of national sale network.

In December, 1994 Societe pour l’Exportation des Produits Nestlé S.A. opened the representation in Kiev to conduct active marketing and advertising support to such world famous brands, as: Nescafé, Nuts, Nestlé, Nesquik, Purina, CPWsa, Maggi, Nestlé Nutrition.

In 1998 Nestlé got the controlling interest of one of considerable confectionery manufacturers of Ukraine — Lvov confectionery factory "Svitoch", installed on the manufacture international quality standards, having introduced new technologies and "know-how".

In May, 2003 in Kiev the company "Nestle Ukraine", for the purpose of commercial activity conducting and development of distributory network, was founded.

In December, 2003 Nestlé got 100 % of actions of OJSC "Volinholding" — Lutsk young, dynamic company which produces under the known trade mark "Torchin Product". TM Torchin is included into the number of leaders of the Ukrainian market of manufacturers of cold sauces (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sauces).
