An open joint-stock company "State export-import bank of Ukraine" founded on January, 3rd, 1992 according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine N29 and on January, 22nd the same year the bank has obtained its first licence from National bank of Ukraine.

Today OJSC "Ukreximbank" is an open joint-stock company, 100 % actions of which belong to the state in the name of the Cabinet. The bank is included invariably into the group of the greatest banks in Ukraine. "Ukreximbank" structure consists of the Main bank, 29 branches and 76 affiliated branches and cover almost all territory of Ukraine. From the date of its establishment the Bank is included invariably into the group of the greatest system banks of Ukraine, has the most widespread in Ukraine network of banks – correspondents (over 800 banking establishments in the different countries of the world).

OJSC "Ukreximbank" is included into the group of ten greatest banks of Ukraine.

Bank`s activity is directed first of all to crediting of base and perspective areas of economy of Ukraine, which have stable indicators of growth, and also areas, which production can replace import , or has solvent stable demand in Ukraine: mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical, food, easy, polygraphic, etc.

It is a member of 14 interbank associations, stock exchanges and associations, including: S.W.I.F.T. – the status of a member; official dealer of American Express; Mastercard International; a clearing bank of payment system Mastercard International in Ukraine; Visa International.

The bank network covers all regional centers of Ukraine. The bank structure includes the Main bank, 29 branches and 48 non-balanced branches. The main bank carries out direct commercial activity and simultaneously executes function of bank activity management.
