Victor Pinchukis the president of "Interpipe" corporation andone of the richest people of Ukraine. High positions in various ratings of wealth and consequence are quite habitual for a son-in-law of the ex-president Leonid Kuchma. Pinchuk appears in the lists of "most" not only in native researches (projects of Korrespondent TOP-100 andTOP -30), but also a frequent participant of popular ratings published annually by Polish magazine "Wprost" and American "Forbes". In 2008 he became the 5-th in the annual list TOP-100of the most influential people of Ukrainewhich is defined and publishedby Korrespondent.

Pinchuk's political career as for Kuchma relative is rather modestly presented with deputy mandates in parliaments of the third and fourth convocation, work on the post of thePresident adviser and also in the Council of businessmen in the Cabinet. Pinchuk did not participate in march elections to Verkhovna Radabecause hedecided to go into business. Today ex-deputy Pinchuk stepped aside from official power structures. He is engaged in enterprise activity and also takes active part in the cultural life of Ukraine. So thepatron of art Pinchuk generously finances various projects connected with the development of art. He collects expensive paintings. Besides he invests money in Spielberg`s creativity and also often helps his friends - stars of Russian and Ukrainian films and show business.

Having lost one of the "nuggets" of his empire - metallurgic mill "Krivorizhstal" -Pinchuk nevertheless remains the owner of large actives. The structure of the research-and-production investment group “Interpipe” headed by Victor Mikhaylovych includes large enterprises of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, pipe industry, bank services and mass media.

Due to global financial crisis he lost $2,1 billions. Heretofore his fortune was estimated at $8,79 billions (TOP-50, Korrespondent)..

Victor Pinchuk's wife is a daughter of the ex-President of Ukraine Kuchma -Franchuk Elena. Victor Mikhaylovych has two daughters – Maria and Ekaterina.
