Roman Bezsmertnyi is the head of the fraction Our Ukraine (Nasha Ukraina), Ukraine MP of the 5th convocation.

Roman Petrovich has historical education. Started his carrier as a pedagogue of the middle school. His political carrier began after he was elected  Ukraine MP in 1994. Then Roman Bezsmertnui came to NDP, later was the member of the fraction PRP “Reformations – Congress”. During 5 years Bezsmertnui was the representative of the President Leonid Kuchma.

But the highest carrier level he achieved while working in the fraction “Our Ukraine”.

He was the vice-head of the election staff of Victor Jushchenko in 2004 and participated in revolutionary developments which accompanied election process. Roman Bezsmertnui was the commandant of Civil Insubordination  Move on Kreschatic.

Roman Bezsmertnui  worked in the Cabinet of Ministers on the post of the vice-prime-minister of the administrative reformation in the Julia Tymoshenko government. Today Bezsmertnui is the head of the fraction “Our Ukraine” and is the main member of the coalition summit.

Roman Bezsmertnui is married. His wife Ludmila Leonidovna (1963) is the teacher of history in the middle school № 286; daughter Lilija (1989) is a student.
