On the web site of Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community there is a dry curriculum vitae about its president: "married, two children, keen on sports". Modestly, without a pomp, and characterising details.

Only obituaries are written so chilly. But the co-founder of the “Privat” group is more than alive. He is young, rich, successful and excessively cautious. Two years ago the billionaire gave his first interview to Kyiv Post newspaper about the begining if his career: he started to trade computer technics with his friend Igor Kolomoyskyy in 1990. A year later partners have registered the first firm – Sentoza which operates until now. But that is not the only property of him.

Metallurgical and mountain-concentrating industrial complexes in Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Poland, the USA. Petroleum production and fuel trade through the wide network of gas stations. The food-processing industry enterprises. And, at last, one of the largest financial establishments of the country – Privat bank.

At all this variety Bogolyubov in his interview to the Kyiv Post correspondent modestly classified his financial and industrial group as "regional business structure". He makes a logical conclusion from here: "The less we are known and paid attention the more advantage our structure get".

 According to Kostya Bondarenko, despite mister Bogolyubov`s closeness, the billionaire has made a rather steady opinion about himself. "His close environment says that he lives the life of a sybarite", - the political scientist speaks. In a translation from Greek it means "the idle person spoilt by luxury". Besides, the same source, satisfying curiosity of the Correspondent, characterises Bogolyubov as choleric person.

If not to be too lazy to look in the Short psychological dictionary, it is possible to learn that "the choleric person (from Greek — bile) — is inclined to sharp changes of mood, it is quick-tempered, impatient, a subject to emotional failures, sometimes happens aggressive". It is hard to say if it is true in Bogolyubov`s case. He is still reliably latent from public interest. The Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community differs. Here they see the president quite often and are ready to carry him on hands if necessary.

Bogolyubov actively participates in charitable projects of the community , and according to its Press Secretary Oleg Rostovtsev, gives a lot of time to help local veterans of the Great Patriotic War. On the majority of the main holidays of the country and the community at the initiative of the businessman old men receive worthy grocery rations and home appliances sometimes.

Despite such serious social work on the site of  Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community, only some avaricious lines are devoted to Bogolyubov. What is more in it , – natural modesty, excessive shyness, or secrecy, Bogolyubov knows only.
