Since 1994 – deputy of Ukraine.

Since July 2006 – member of the Committee of Finances and Bank Activity.

2006 – 2007 – Minister of Internal Affairs.

Vasilii Tsushko was born in the family of usual collective farmers. Graduated from Odessa Agricultural Institute, specialty  - economist.

Grew from economist to the director of state farm in native village.

Was elected to be the deputy of Ukraine in 1994.

Since 1998 – member of the fraction Socialistic Party of Ukraine and Agricultural Party of Ukraine.

2005 -2006 was the head of Odessa regional state administration.

December 1, 2006 – September 30, 2007 – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Member of Committee of Finances and bank activity.

Was rewarded with the order For Service of the 3rd stage.

Married. Wife Ludmila Ivanovna, nurse. They foster 2 schoolchildren – son Vadim and daughter Alina.
