Since May 2006 -  deputy of Ukraine, member of Party of Regions.

Anna German – former head of Kiev editorial staff of Radio Freedom, former press secretary of prime-minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich.

Now she is the deputy in the fraction Party of Regions in Verchovna Rada of Ukraine and councilor of the prime-minister on the social background. Herman also is the first assistant of the head of the Committee of Speech Freedom.

Anna Herman for a long time worked as a journalist, Anna Stetsiv voice (her former surname) is remembered well from soviet times.

She was the member of the Executive Committee of Journalist Union in Soviet Union in the time of her professional activity, in reformation times – manager of newspaper department Young Galichina, worked as reporter  in Ukrainian independent informational publishing union of Vjacheslav Chornovil. Since 1997 worked as a reporter in Warsaw.

She was the director of Kiev bureau Radio of Free Europe – Radio Freedom.

In 2004 was the press secretary of the prime-minister of Ukraine and the head of the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. After that she became the press secretary of the head of Party of Regions.

Anna Herman is the author of nearly 200 publications. In 2003 her book Unvisible pyramids was published. Herman is going to publish the biography of Victor Yanukovich (first title– Iron master).

She is married, fosters 2 sons.
