Oleg Skripka – musician, composer and poet. Started his carrier not as a musician, he graduated from Kiev Polytechnic Institute with radio engineering education. Worked  as TV set collector on the conveyor and successfully worked at the military plant.

In 1986 founded band “Vopli Vidoplasova” with his friends from the institute Shura Pipa, Yura Zdorenko and Sergey Sahno. The first hit song was “Dancing”.

1991 – 1996 Skripka lived and successfully performed together with “VV” in France. From 1996 “VV” actively toured in Kiev, Moscow and abroad.

Oleg Skripka was an active member of the “orange revolution”. Hold the press-conference in France at which he released Victor Yushchenko speech to French people.

Skripka is famous for its active participating in theatre plays. In 2006 he got prestigious theatre prize “Pektoral” – for the musical conception of “Natalka Poltavka” play in Ivan Franco theatre. Skripka played the role of Voznyi in the performance. He also played in New Year musicals.

Oleg Skripka is the initiator and organizer of the ethnic festival “Krayina mrii” from July 2004 and of the festival “Rock-Sich” from May 2006. He also performed with “VV”.

In November 2006 new album “Buly Denky” was presented to the 20th  anniversary of the band.
