Sergey Taruta is the chairman of board of directors of one of the biggest companies of
Taruta started his career at the end of the 70-s at Azovstal. There he was the head of the external economic department.
Besides entrepreneurship Taruta is keen on art and patronage. He is interested in Trypillia culture and collects the Scythian gold. He invests in reconstruction of the hetman’s castle in Baturin.

The fall of the stock value of almost all metallurgical plants of the corporation became a millstone about allies’ neck. The stocks of the Dzerzhinsk and Alchevsk metallurgical mills lost the most of its value (-76% and -92% respectively). “IUD closes all the investment programs and reduces the number of the stuff”, - such was the reaction of Sergey Taruta on descending trend of the stock market.
