Nikolay Azarov - the First Vice-Premier Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Finance of Ukraine in the Cabinet of Ministers of Yanukovich, Approved on August 4th, 2006.

The Party of Regions member occupies the post of Chairman of political council of the Party.

By The President of Ukraine Kuchma Azarov already occupied the post of the First Vice-Premier Minister of Ukraine and The Minister of Finance, was the head of the State Tax Administration.

Some experts thought that with Azarov returning to the Cabinet of Ministers a powerful tax pressure on the middle and small business was expected that is a characteristic work style of Nikolay Azarov.

The biography of Azarov, besides his political activity facts, is rich with achievements in the science sphere. In addition Azarov is a doctor of geology-mineralogical sciences (the dissertation – “Mine geophysics”), professor, corresponding member of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (branch of sciences about the Earth, mountain geophysics).

Married: his wife Lyudmila Nikolaevna (1946) is a teacher; son Alexei (1971) is an engineer.
