According to the report of the public prosecutor of Ukraine Michael Poteben`ko, Lazarenko had illegalcurrency accounts in a number of European countries for a sum of 4,5 million Swiss francs and 2 million dollars.
In 1998 there were brought accusations to Lazarenko in money-laundering, corruption and swindle for a total sum of 300 mln dollars. Lazarenko is accused under 53 articles, and according to the USA laws he can spend in prison 20 years for these crimes.
