Valentyna Semeniuk wasUkraine MPof 2nd, 3d, 4th, 5th convocations. By the way, Semeniuk have dealings with privatization of state property since her working in the Parliament where she headedspecial commission concerning privatization issues.

Nevertheless, beingthe member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, Valentyna Petrovna treats privatization rather sceptically that is not characteristic for all her predecessors on the post of FSP chairman. As a striking example of that there is Valentyna Petrovna's uncooperative attitude to the sale of "Krivorozhstal`", which was expressed in demonstrative resignation from the post, which the President of Ukraine Yushchenko did not accept.

Anyhow, Valentyna Semeniukis a qualified expert, and it is difficult to accuse her in lack of professionalism andin non-observance of legislation which Valentyna Petrovna implicitly follows.

January, 2008 - married for the second time. Her husbandis abusinessman Vitaliy Samsonenko. Valentyna Semeniuk has two adult daughters from her 1st marriage — Lyudmila (1979) and Anna (1982).
