Georgy Skudar is not young. And he has seen a lot in his life. In one of his latest interviews he recalled how once when he was undergoing a treatment at a hospital, a man “wearing velour jacket with golden buttons came and began telling me [Skudar] that I might have problems, and that my health may get seriously bad, if I do not accept the proper protection”. It is pity that Skudar did not tell how this conversation ended. And whether this protection under the golden buttons took place or not. His enterprise – Novokramatorsk machine-building plant is filled with the orders, half of which come from the CIS countries, 30% - from abroad, and 20% - from domestic market. In the beginning of this year a French corporation Alstom also approached and placed a decent order for building a hydroelectric power station in China. If Ukrainians do everything in time and produce high-quality results, this contract may bring good dividends. Especially since China is a huge country, why not continue building hydroelectric power plants? And as for the quality, Skudar assures it. He can make as many hydro shafts as china needs. That is how he grows rich.
